We were once just like any other fast food order. One magical, moonlit summer’s evening we were accidentally thrown out of the delivery van on a country lane corner. The van was being driven far too fast by Ronny the delivery ‘middle aged’ boy who works for Give Pizza Chance, a take away shop in Middlesbrough. We flew out of the van and straight through the window of Witch Blabber Yak’s living room. We got caught in one of her spells and Hey Tesco – we were alive!

SMOGGY THE DOG


Oh, him. That rotten mongrel. Smoggy doesn’t like us much because we’ve taken over his place in the Blabber Yak’s affections. Plus, even though we’re alive now, we’re still hot, tasty grub and he’s a big greedy dog.


He sometimes tries to snaffle us when Blabber’s not about, but we’re too smart for him. And he spends most of his time fighting with the Friend Chips because they like to wind him up. They love him you see and can’t leave him alone! They think he’s funny. We think he’s a miserable, unfriendly mutt, and those are his good points.
